Announcing The 2024 All-ACC Football Honorees

The ACC announces their top player honors ahead of 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Football Championship Game on December 7. Today (December 3), the ACC unveiled its All-ACC Football Teams. Clemson led the conference with 10 players earning spots across the first, second, and third teams, while Miami had the most first-team selections, with four. SMU, Miami, and Duke tied for second with eight honorees each, followed by Pitt and Virginia Tech, who had six players recognized.

The top vote-getters for this season were Miami’s Cam Ward and North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton, both of whom received 207 points to earn first-team honors. Ward, the NCAA leader in passing touchdowns (36) and Total QBR (88.0), also ranks second nationally in passing yards (4,123) and passing yards per game (343.6). Hampton leads the ACC and is second in the nation with 1,660 rushing yards (138.3 yards per game) and has scored 17 total touchdowns, including 15 rushing scores.

On defense, the highest vote recipients were Donovan Ezeiruaku of Boston College and Antwaun Powell-Ryland of Virginia Tech, who tallied 188 and 169 points, respectively.

A panel consisting of 54 media members and the 17 ACC head coaches, for a total of 71 voters, selected the All-ACC teams. Points were awarded based on the following format: three points for first-team votes, two points for second-team votes, and one point for third-team selections.

The conference will announce the individual honors – including Player of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year – on December 4, followed by the Coach of the Year award on December 5.
