College football recruiting has always been a big deal. And national signing day began Wednesday December 4 with the start of the early signing period. High school recruits from the Class of 2025 who signed their letters of intent secured their commitments to the colleges they chose for at least the upcoming year.
It was an eventful day, highlighted by Oregon and LSU pulling off major recruiting flips, and USC making a strong comeback by landing one of the top remaining prospects, five-star defensive end Jahkeem Stewart.
Georgia currently holds the top spot in ESPN’s recruiting rankings with 16 ESPN 300 commitments, while Texas and Michigan also made notable strides. If any recruits don’t sign their national letters of intent by Friday, the next signing day for this class will take place on February 5, 2025.
