The 2024 NBA Cup, also known as the Emirates NBA Cup, has proven to be a thrilling addition to the league’s calendar, providing high-stakes action early in the season. What makes the tournament even more exciting is that, aside from the championship game, all knockout-round games also count towards regular season records.
This year’s tournament culminates in a championship game at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip, which will showcase two new teams in 2024 (with the red dotted circles above): the Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The NBA Cup has come and gone, and officially, we have a winner. The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 97-81 in the NBA Cup’s championship game; Giannis was the most outstanding player.
